Slack is not a source of truth

When somebody asks a question on Slack, we answer.

When another person asks about it again, the best possible answer should be an URL to the tool that stores this information.

I like the concept of sources of truth and non-sources of truth that Sourcegraph mentions in their handbook.

And yes… private messages are a source of misalignment.
