Many people will impolitely correct you when you ask a stupid question or form an invalid statement on the Internet. But when you ask a well-detailed, concrete and smart one, there will be fewer answers.

Maybe that’s in our nature, but this is something that matters at work.

When you read an RFC, ADR, Slack message, an article, or listen to the statement, and you agree with everything being said or written. Do not stay silent. Communicate your agreement.

It might be a spoken, written word or an emoji.

Simple thumbs-ups create a snowball effect in building a more collaborative, open and motivated environment. It may improve interactions’ dynamics. It may help everyone stay engaged at work.
