No matter what I do, sometimes I get stuck because there is this one little step in the process that I hate.
Training in a gym? I hate getting there.
Cycling on a trainer at home? I hate putting SPD shoes on.
Applying for the job? I hate updating a CV.
Writing a Python script? I hate opening IDE.
Ice swimming? I hate dressing up after I leave the water.
No matter what I do, those little demons sometimes put me into procrastination mode.
I found the tactics that work for me to kill the demons mentioned above.
I haven't found the tactic for Writing, yet.
To get an article done at my blog - https://rmakara.github.io/, I had to be at my local computer, create a new markdown file, write a post, and publish it by pushing it to a git repository. What a disaster! I can write a 2-page article in 20 minutes, but I can procrastinate for weeks before starting it.
Now I have Substack.
If there is a way to simplify a process - why not give it a shot?
