Build a shared understanding of the Basic Words
There are many sayings that we use to keep the discussion going:
Autonomy
Done
Fast (or Slow)
Minimum Viable Product
Proof of Concept
Self-organizing
Value
Most often, the room has a few different understandings of these words.
Just nobody says it out loud. We take them for granted.
Imagine:
Autonomy and Self-organization without boundaries and expectations.
Proof of Concept which took 3 months to get done.
Perfect Minimum Viable Product.
Being Fast when the mean lead time for a change is 5 weeks.
Saying that something is Almost Done.
Delivering Value by working on a feature for 6 months before the initial release.
Questioning the ubiquitous language might be worth doing.
